Deer killer
Yesterday around 5 p.m., Ocean Shores Police responded to a call about a male shooting a deer with an arrow. The alleged crime took place on Sand Dollar Court SW at South Sand Dune. Police found the suspect, and made a citation for “Hunting of Game and Unlawful Transportation of Fish or Wildlife.”

Maybe they should corral all of the deer to those two locations, and let them have at it there. Or else this sort of “deer rampaging” will take place all over town continuously.
Yes, Felix, unfortunately this happens frequently in the Ocean Shores area. The police have told me some either have a misconception that hunting by bow and arrow (but not gun) is permitted in O.S., or just play dumb.
The law: hunting is outlawed in all of Ocean Shores, except for two designated areas (one by the airport, the other on the south end.)
Hasn’t this sort of issue struck the OS before? I think I recall something of this nature occuring previously.
Why isn’t the guys name published? I’d like to know just who it is.
I hope this guy gets more than a slap on the wrist.
