New ambulance fees proposed

On the agenda for the 6 p.m. City Council meeting tonight (what is optimistically being called “the last City Council meeting of the year)” are items concerning the budget, as well as proposed new (increased) Fire/Paramedic fees.

Here are the proposed ambulance fees:

Additionally:

• Specialty Care Transport – $1,185 (plus mileage)

• Non-Resident Specialty Care Transport – $1,425 (plus mileage)

• Mileage – $18.00 per mile

• Response & Service (Out of City Only) – $300

• Standby (Advanced Life Support Only) – $120 per hour
