Accident on 109
Accident around 7:30 on Saturday night: The State Patrol reports the 19-year-old Hoquiam driver of a Chevy pickup “was traveling southbound on SR 109, attempting to make an unsafe U-turn.” A GMC pickup driven by an Aberdeen man “was traveling northbound SR 109, and struck” the Chevy pickup. The Aberdeen man was taken to Community Hospital with chest and neck injuires. The Hoquiam man was charged with “unsafe driving.” The Aberdeen man was charged with DUI.
