DUI officer arrest update
According to Russ Fitts, deputy chief of the Ocean Shores Police Department, Stephen James Mortell, the officer arrested and charged with DUI, “is no longer with the department. He is no longer employed with the city of Ocean Shores.”

Didn’t one of City Council persons get a DUI back around 2000, shortly after he was elected to the Council. How come he was not kicked off the City Council?
