Some members of Ocean Shores Citizens for Balanced Growth, wearing big smiles Wednesday at the library, where they met to plan a victory party for the big “retain” vote on Weatherwax.

While the Citizens for Balanced Growth gloat over their victory, I hope they stop to remember the four city employees who face the New Year without jobs. Weatherwax now moves from the investment category into the fiscal irresponsibility category for which Ocean Shores is so famous.
